Zombie related injuries

Just wondering am i completly by myself in this or have other people fallen victim to Zombie related injuries?

One night my boyfriend and his mate where having a couple drinks in our kitchen and discussing zombies. Somehow their conversation turned to "who does the most realisic zombie impression?"
This then lead to them wandering around the house acting like zombies (at this point i will mention that they are both in their late 20s)

I'd been out shopping, came home and opened the door to the kitchen only to be sprung at by my boyfriend who'd heard me coming. I put up my hands to defend myself and heard a crack in my right hand as he bashed into me trying to bite my neck. I screamed and tied to pull away and all the while he thought to himself (using his own words) "wow i'm really scary"

End result anyway was I ended up with a broken thumb. And he had to buy me many presents.

The worst part was that i was one week into a new job and had to explain to the boss what happened. I never lived it down!!!

I've injured myself while doing my own - outstanding - zombie impression.

This will be a useful skill, of course, when the time comes.

Basically, I was doing the whole broken-ankle-zombie-walk thing, leaning on my foot, when my friend/victim decided to overpower me - flying in the face of all sensible zombie counter-measure advice, by the way, taking a zombie on unarmed. Anyway, she kind of leaned on my ankle and I sprained it badly.

I can't remember what I told people had happened afterwards, but it was something far more plausible. Also, it sucks to have a painful injury that doesn't have a proportionately dramatic visible symptom.

being rugby-tackled... bit of light bruising, but it proved my mate couldn't take down a zombie without weapons, so it was sorta worth it. :pac:

This is a stark reminder that your awareness is not up to the task, if that was an actual zombie attack you'd be dead now. From now on you should carry a small hammer in your bag, next time this happens use the hammer. "I thought he was a zombie" will hold up in any court in the EU.
