iit possibe to download an app that lets you out things in folders, iv been looking and cant find one, seems a bit strange that you cant do something simple like this

open itunes
go to the app store
type in "folders'in the search box

it return results that vary in price.

let me see if i can find a free one

thanks for that but i dont think i was clear at the start, i was wondering is there an app for folders on you ipod, like you could put games in one folder and travel etc in another. maybe you can with evernote, i keep looking into it.

There is a way to do this, but you need to jailbreak your device.
The app in question is called Categories and can be downloaded from Cydia.

Could you not just set up a number of home screens (forget the correct name)
one for main apps, one for games, one for music etc
