my advice would be to get a company that deals with this to help you. it will cost in the region of €250 plus vat to form a company and any of the providers should be able to answer all your questions. why i woudl say to use someoneelse is because it is a specialist area and if you mess up here itwill cost you down the line. you can try www.omnipro.ie or google companyset up and you will get any other providers.

    Cheers lads
With regards to registering your business name, can this be done before contact one of these companies or do I need all the doc's from them before I can register a business name.
Also is it worth while just doing the business name registering myself or is it complicated

    Thanks

A business name would only need to be registered if you're going to trade under a different name to what you're limited company will be trading under.

    Example:

If you call your limited company ABC Limited but also want to trade under ABC Engineering, then you'll need to register a separate trading or business name of ABC Engineering registered to the company

If you call your limited company ABC Limited and only want to trade under ABC Limited, then there's no need to register a business name as the company formation agent actually registers the limited name for you when registering your company.

PM me or post here if you have any other q's as i deal with this type of stuff every day.
