Rnds 1-5 - Khan moving in and out landing pitter patter punches now and again but Kotelnik keeping himself well covered up. Khan wins the rounds clearly and Ian Darke and Jim Watt have multiple orgasms on air.

Rnds 6-8 - Kotelnik starts opening up more and working his way into the fight. Khan still moving well but being hurt by Kotelniks punches. Closer rounds but Khan still winning them. Kotelnik making a fight of it and getting to Khan thought.

Rnds 9-10 - Kotelnik landing more frequently now and hurts khan with a right hand. Khan in desperate trouble and gets stopped in the fight.

Khan will be stopped or retired by his corner in the later rounds.

I think now that Khan has got a decent trainer, he's got a much better chance of avoiding the big shots. If he keeps well tucked in, uses his natural speed to beat his man to the punch, and is able to get in and get out before getting tagged, I think he has a chance of winning this.

If he gets KO'd again though....

Not sure about this fight, i reckon khan will beat him no problems, lighting fast strikes with a world class trainer, although i think the other fella will be knowcked out by round 3

You headline your post Khan= crap and then say he'll knock Kotelnik out within 3 rounds ?

Anyone who can knock Kotelnik out is far from crap, infact anyone that can do it within 3 rounds is an amazing fighter.

I see something similar to what Akindoc has put up, but I see it happening earlier. I think Khan could be done somewhere between the 6-8th round. He's definitely going to win the early rounds and I just hope that there isn't an early stoppage with Khan flurrying onto Kotelnik's arms and gloves while he's on the ropes.

If Khan's good enough to beat Kotelnik(without a referee giving him a hand) then he deserves his dues.

I watched the first two rounds of Gavin Reese Versus Kotelnik on youtube and in the 2nd round the very short Reese landed two left hooks around the house to the body with a full step in, one after the other. To me that displays a lack of defensive ability on Kotelniks part. N Reese tagged him a few times with his left jab. Khan will be really punishing him from the 7th round onwards. Referee will stop the fight in the 8th round. Khan ploughing Kotelnik with every shot in the book and taking nothing in return. Kotelniks face cut n swollen. Khan has the pop to bring out cuts/swellings. N he is much better defensively than he used to be. He doesn't just launch into attacks leaving himself open.

Khan will keep him at distance and bully him with his jab.He won't be "allowed" to get off any big shots.Khans going to have such a work rate in this fight i think you will all be shocked. This is my observation from one of his fights, not some blog, or other site. He has a habbit of dropping his left hand he's too open to the jab, hes fcked basically.

khan wins by ud because Maidana hits harder than khan.

Yer right about Khans workrate. It will look superb. He is training at the moment with three sparring partners. He only gets 35 seconds rest between rounds. Sparring partners swap out after three rounds. N the last sparring partner is only in for the last two rounds. Khan will be so fresh in the 9th and 10th round if it comes to it. This fight will not go to points. I was watching Khan throw double left jab and then left hook on the pads and his power is phenomenal. If he gets through with that left hook Kotelnik is hitting the canvas. N the left jab will really keep Kotelnik covered up.

I aint at all sold on Khan winning. I think we simply need to see
Kotelnik landing a flush and good shot on Amir and see
his reaction to the shot. If Amir can take his punches, I see
only one clear winner here. Amir is simply too fast and all around
too good for Kotelnik. So, the first few rds and punches
and then we can really see.

Amir can try and play it safe and box real clever without
being overly attacking and agrressive, but at some stage
Kotelnik will have to get through and will Khan stand up to it?
