I'm organising a leisurely (I'm doing Trip to Tipp Sunday) MTB spin next Saturday 18th of July from Lucan to Maynooth, most of the route will be along the Royal Canal Way, the first couple of kilometres are on road to bring us to the canal and towpath after that, 30kms approx and about 90 minutes, anyone who is interested the meet-up and finish is at Lucan Demesne car park on the old Celbridge Road in Lucan (opposite McDonalds) at 9:45am for a 10am start.

Have the power washer ready afterwards if you're coming along, a bit muddy and mucky to-day when I did it, but that's what it's all about, a bit of fun.:)

NOOOO not the powerwasher, you'll drive the grease out of the bearings and strip the paint off the frame!

I am getting my MTB this week (hopefully) and I intend to keep the muck on the bike and collect it. No power washer, the rain will take care of the dirt.
