Sky needing PIN number before whatever PM

    Sometimes when I go to watch a movie or something during the day it asks for a PIN. It's annoying to say the list having to put it in everytime I flick through them. From what I can see I have all the relevant options tickets on this page:

    Services --> 3 Parental Control

    Nothing you can do about it, AFAIK.

    It's forced on more adult-orientated films during the day. It's the only way the UK regulator would let Sky show films aimed at older ages during the day.

    It's probably over 12's though.

    I think any film rated 12's or higher need you to enter PIN before watershed (AFAIK, 8pm on Sky?)

    Otherwise, Sky would just be allowed to show U or PG rated films during the daytime.

    Perhaps another thing to take to the R+R forum. I'd have imagined there should have been some override button somewhere so I can view everything unrestricted.

    For example - I can browse the adult chat channels with women wearing next to nothing all day long without the PIN...

    With Sky+ HD and all movie pack it gets rather annoying to be required to put in the pin all the time. But then again i suppose it's a safetypurpose for the two 30+ residents in the house to accidentally stumble in halfway through "babe the brave pig" :rolleyes:
