What games have you bought in the last few months?

I've been buying quite a few bit and pieces. I've recently bought:

    Some GURPS 4th edition stuff.
    Starblazers Adventures
    Corporation (cyber punk type stuff)
Vampire the Req. source books (I still prefer the oWOD tho' especially Sabbat.)
    Various Cthulhu monographs
    BRP plus some supplements.

Haven't bought any new games recently, but I've been keeping up to date on Corporation (The Eastern Bank is quite a nice little supplement with some cool fluff and options) and Exalted (so many sourcebooks I've lost count really, all high quality stuff).

    A few Exalted books.
    Some Scion books.
    One or two L5R
    Latest Dark Heresy

I think that's about it. I'm a bit behind on my Exalted though. I've one or two sourcebooks I need to pick up.

Nice one guys. I've been some indie stuff too. In all honesty I came to the indie scene at a very late stage - so it's all new to me.

Here's a few of the titles:

    Lacuna
    Sorcerer
    Barbarians of Lemuria
    Don't Rest Your Head

I find indie games are an awfully mixed bunch. It's a lot of work wading through the piles of utter **** to find the good ones.

I've really been buying a lot of non-gaming books to mine for ideas. I have a pile of books on sun-cults, ancient history, Japanese culture, various scifi and fantasy novels and the like sitting on a shelf waiting to be read, and their ideas shamelessly stolen for my next RPG.

Very true... some are absolute cack. The ones I mentioned are definitely work a look best of the best imo. Plus, they are cheap enough. Some call themselves "indie" probably in order to disguise the fact they've made a terrible game. :)

Nothing wrong with that... I'm the same. There's always someone out there with a bigger and better idea. So why not "borrow" it for a game. ;)

Don't Rest Your Head is a very interesting game. Another few good indie ones I've come across are Against the Darkness and Thirty.

I've heard of Thirty alright - by John Wick. I've not really played it though.

I suppose one could call Savage Worlds indie too. Even thought they got pretty big (which is great).

Aye - I've bought it but not played it yet. Have you got the source book, "don't loose your mind"? Very interesting, but not for kids. :D

I haven't gotten a chance to play with it yet, but it's very much on my to do list
