    Hi all

I have many years experience in Adwords but less so in SEO. I have a worked with a number of different content management systems on SEO successfully but for the first time have encountered OS Commerce for a new client. The client site although 8 years old has virtually no ranking - needs the full monty. Has anyone got any tips on OS Commerce for SEO - has anyone used any of the SEO or URL tidyup plugins etc?

    thanks

OSC is a bit of a dog, and I think you should really consider changing CMS.

You can of course tinker with OSC, but I think you'll save yourself time and money by moving to a more modern cart.

    Hope this helps.

Would be worth upgrading to Magento or Zen Cart - both have import modules for OSC and more up to date for onsite SEO.

Magento in particular seems a lot more configurable.
