    I have just completed 3 years of an ordinary degree without a grant. I was royally screwed by Meath VEC on that front; thats another story.

    I have lived in Rathgar since September 07, and am thinking about doing an extra 2 years for the honours degree while the economy is in the state it is.

    My question is this: where do I apply for a grant? Dublin city council? South Dublin council? Or a VEC?

    You apply to the vec in whatever place you were living on the 1st october 2008. If you look up Dublin city vec site they should have more info
