Sigur Ros Heima album/dvd aside, are there any other recommendations for artists or bands doing ambient acoustic post rock type stuff?

Or is the whole point of post rock, the quiet LOUD quiet LOUD....

Try checking a group called Balmorhea, their last album, "All Is Wild, All Is Silent", is fantastic.

Really good, on my list also.

Talk Talk's last two albums, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, are both highly recommended. Acoustic textures, meandering post-rock structure.

it's just a pity I don't have an ipod, just an mp3 player, as the Balmorhea album only seems to be available on itunes...:(

I got it on Emusic, but I see you've bought it elsewhere anyway.
