Sky freezing ?

    Hi
Over the past few days my sky signal 'freezes' every couple of minutes for anything from 2 secs to 30 secs and then starts again.

It's almost like buffering that you see on web streams.

It has happened in both good and bad weather

One solution to it is to change channel or hit info button on the remote.

I am not sure but this may be only occurring since I inserted the new sky card that arrived in the post last week.

    Anyone have similar experiences ?

You'll have to give them a call, it happened to me a few weeks back. They do a few line tests etc. and you'll have to give them some info from the box etc. took about 10 minutes and mine is grand now;)

I had problems like this and they were related to a tree

the tree basically grew up into a position where it began to affect reception, so it was a gradual thing from slight intereference in wind to eventually blocking out

    tree was removed...problem solved

Dont waste a phone call the Sky call centre workers dont and wont know the problem you have Try rebooting your sky box if that fails to solve it you have signal or tuner problem.

Sky are grand unless you're calling their general customer service section.

Jaysus, I'd rather take a bath with Brian Cowen than call them!!
