The last two years have been magical, with Harrington winning in great style, passion, determination & drama. I don't think many people would have imagined an ending or written a script like the last 2 finishes of the Open.

Mine: (Short Version) McGrane's birdie on the 18th gives him a blistering 65 on the last day to finish 1 ahead of Clarke, Woods, Montgomerie & McIlroy.

So..........whats yours for this year ? (be as outlandish as you like)

Obv you've never heard of betting exchanges. He can be got @ 161/1 on betdaq if your interested in real value, otherwise stick to the high street bookies who love to see ye coming.

Soren Kjelson wins by one, and at 161/1 on betdaq my €20 earns a nice return, i send david-k a private message thanking him for advising me to avoid the high street bookies and go on a weeks golfing holidays.

I think what will happen come Sunday will be this....

Padraig Harrington will play really well this week and will be in the final group

coming down the stretch with Tiger...at the 18th green...the 72nd hole of

the Open Championship...Padraig has an 8 foot putt to take the title for a

    third time...it's a tense moment...everyone is hushed...flags are fluttering in a

gentle scottish breeze...Padraig slowly draws back the blade of his

putter...when all of a sudden someone shouts out.. "in the hole Paddy Harro!"

....Padraig misses...glares in the direction of the outburst and says...

    ...ehhhhhh..SHUT UP CONNO!

as soundsham holes the winning putt to win by 3 shots the green is invaded by 20 female streakers from the sports illustrated swimsuit edition and carry him away to have their evil way with him .................might aswell kill 2 birds with the one stone

Monty shoots a final round 64 to win it by one.

Kim Jong-Il wins by 140 shots, having holes in one on the last 3, having decided to give golf a go again.

R&A decides he is to keep the Claret Jug (the original one, not the copy they allowed previous winners to have for the year) for ever, and that the British Open will no loger be held, golf having been "beaten" for all time.

I'd be happy if the winner acts like a winner on the 18th... gimme passion any day ahead of the disappointing last moments of the US Open just gone by... a memory like woods in his caddies arms after his first victory since his dad died....
