Psych student needs help!

Hi everyone!

I'm a PhD Psychology student and am running an experiment over the summer on campus but it's pretty hard to find people during the hols! If any would like to take part in my study, it's to do with attitudes to smoking and both smokers and non-smokers can take part. It takes about 1.5hrs (varies between individuals) and I'd be very very grateful! If anyone is interested let me know please.

Tijuana lady, send an email to the departmental secrataries for each department in the Science faculty asking them to circulate it to postgrads and post-docs. Those people are around all summer apart from a week or two when they are on holidays. Also try putting up a notice in the science buildings asking for volunteers.

You won't have as much success with the Arts departments because a lot of their PhD students either take the summer off or work remotely.

Those who did genuinely continue their research over the summer finished in 3-4 years. Of course the science students need to be in the labs so their supervisors know when they are slacking

Go way out of that, stamp collecting while us proper (social) scientists conduct real analysis

I know what you mean though, thankfully my supervisor favours the stick
