    Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of starting CPA and due to family commitments I will have to do the course from home. I was wondering if anyone can recommend any of these colleges for home study.

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi,

if you have an accountancy back round I would suggest just getting the books and exam kits online and dont bother paying the extra for the distance learning packages as they do not really add any value. Everything will be in the texts and they usually have good examples that help you to work through it on your owm.

If accountancy is new for you and you really can't make classes then I would say get the books online but go to a couple of revision weekends before the exams.

Also if you could find another person sitting the same exams as yourself to do study groups with would be a great benefit espcially for tax and accounting exams.

    Good Luck!
