There are two spiders in my room (y'know those daddylongleg yolks but without the wings)

I don't mind insects at all but I hate these guys. Even the way they move make me shiver. Anyway... I just ran across my room to switch the light off. And legged it back to my bed quickly in case one landed on me and then I shuddered a bit. Now one of them is crawling up my door. Yuck.

Always found it facinating how they can reproduce so quickly. The female can lay up to 90 eggs in a night and they hatch within a few hours.

It's rare that you see two indoors like that.

I think you should pick them up and realise they can't hurt you even if they wanted, which they don't

The spider baby, it's got the body of a spider, but the mind of a baby... but it wouldn't really bite ya... at least, not until it got a bit older

And what if you have no choice in the matter? What if it's fate that tonight you'll be bitten by a mutant spider and turn into some sort of spider lady and run around climbing walls and fighting crime? You'd be turning your back on the world to deny your destiny, Spiderlady.

Nothing you can do about spiders, they are pretty much always near you, but at least they are harmless and mostly keep out of sight/to themselves.

yeah, if you get a spray or powder in the hardware (preferably something with 'permetherin' in it), and spray/apply it around the edges of the floor/skirting boards. Lift the carpet edges if you're using powder and apply it underneath the edges, all around the room.

should keep em away

I thought the pics were great and kind of cute. I like the arachnids! But I don't like them near my food or bed {or perving at me in the shower

It's ok go to sleep, you'll wake up they'll be gone and you'll spend the day wondering if you slept with your mouth open and ate them.. :rolleyes:
