    Hi,

Im new to the world of airsoft and am anxious to get involved in some sort of team-based skirmishing asap. Does anybody know of any groups or organisations based in the Mullingar/Westmeath where a newcomer can get involved? Cheers in advance.

    Dan

No idea about teams and such but first test the water and rent out an AEG before you make any long term plans

    +1

find a local skirmish site, play for a while, get to kno local teams and players etc....

or jus go to the teams thread above and ask there =P

You don't have to join a team.

Once you go to a skirmish, you'll find teams are picked on the day by the marshall.

I think Midlands airsoft club is close to you. They have a thread here

As Lochdara said, the Midlands airsoft club (MAC) in Longford would be the closest to you. Next to that, you would have to head towards Drogheda for the next nearest site.

If you contact Stone.Cold or ChucktheBuck I'm sure they would be willing to give you some info on their site (MAC).

Best of luck and welcome to Airsoft:)

M.A.C. is only about 30 mins from Mullingar. So very handy for you to get too.:D
As this is a club you will need your own AEG and face protection (shooting glasses, goggles, facemask, etc).

Send a PM to either myself, StoneCold or ChucktheBuck as stated earlier.

Any of the commercial sites will have decent rental guns for you to hire and try the sport to see if it suits you.
    Best of luck.
