PS3 killing power cables

Anyone have an issue like this? The PS3 is broken, won't power up, and kills every power cable that you try it with (as in, works with pc, try it on ps3, no longer works with pc). I'm assuming it's blowing the fuses, although haven't tried replacing them. The PS3 is about 18 months old, is it a standard 12 month warranty on them? If they are out of warranty, how do you go about getting it fixed?

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

Power supply is fooked a definitely sounds like it's blowing a fuse. All you can do is send it to be fixed. It's probably a minor fix so you could probably get a third party to fix it a bit cheaper.
