Haven't thought about it much, but Trophy Jackets will be everywhere! Kind of cropped style, and covered in spangles/sequins/glass beads. Expensive, but will look absolutely fabulous with skinny black jeans, black top and sky-high ankle boots.

^ Blokes Winter 09 collections so far, across the board.

Only one I like so far is the CP Company line, but its as expensive as ever.Across the board but I noticed theres very little stupidly bright coloured items in anybodys mens winter line up, black and grey ftw.

Some hideous stuff is coming.Trust me.

Since the likes of Vogue etc have given their approval of Rick Owens(about time),expect to see his aesthetic appear in the high street... Iv seen a particular buy from a high street store , one particular new brand is a Rick Owens doppleganger, albeit a well done one.

    1. Big shoulders, almost lke eighties only more puffy than sharp.
    2. Sequins (even on trousers)
    3. Fringes/ tassels
    4. Lampshade skirts
    5. Thigh high boots

We are going to look hideous, it'll be the kind of clothes you look back at in photos and think Oh my God what was I thinking??

You'll see a war in the fashion sense between those who want to go full out 80's (acid colours, blazers with sleeves rolled up, pixie hair) and those who want to keep it grunge a la Alexa Chung (think motorcycle boots, plaid shirts worn as dresses over rock band tshirts.)

Once it becomes saturated i think the sharpness of the 80's style will die out. Look around Grafton street, everyone is wearing exactly the same clothes. If i see that feckin Penny's Chanel 2.55 rip-off handbag on another girl im gona puke.

Workin with the buyer for our store we see allot of that electirc blue coming in as a replacement for last winter's purple (which has had a 3 season life extension.)

I don't think fashion has a concensus for this season having looked at all the catwalk pics in this month's Vogue. Ah sure it'll be fun figuring it out :pac:

Put the fake tan away, opaque tights time!

Sequins on everything, trousers, jackets, bags... We're going to glitter!
Weird shoulder shapes, rounded and spiky puffed up shoulders
    Cropped jackets
Fringe, on skirts and trousers especially. Kinda 20's style fringe dresses.
