my ipod touch is stuck on the apple sign at the start, iv done the holding down power and home etc but it wont work. any ideas

As I mentioned on another thread... I think :P you need to put your iPod into DFU mode and then restore it through iTunes.

happened to both mine and my friends iPods before (a consequence of jailbreaking?)
