    You could always get a skin instead of painting it. This is the first that came up on Google, followed by these from Amazon. Less permanent than a paint job, so you could always take them off again if they look terrible.

    I'd just get one of the silicon skins if I were you, I have a blue camo one that came with the xbox . Means you don't have to risk making a hash of painting it, and I think the textured surface gives better grip on the controller too a wee bit

    Search the airsoft forum, some of the guys in there have done serious
    paint jobs on gear and you could get similar work done on the pad.
