    hi,

I was running emoze on my PC which would send a copy of my incoming work email to the iphone - not quite push email but it works.

Problem is emoze has been down now for over a week. I have tried mail2web but they require you to forward or redirect a copy of your email to the email address - this is not allowed in my work environment.

So to the question. Anyone know of a utility which will run on the desktop and redirect or forward emails from outlook?

    Thanks

Hello, have you given this a try?

I think the Windows version has just been released but a Mac version has been around for a while, it'll send a push notification to the Prowl app on your iPhone if you get a mail. The downside being you'd have to leave your computer on, of course.

    hi there,

yeah I tried it but for some reason it would not push the notification from outlook.....I had the growl outlook connector installed, and the notification would pop up on the desktop so I know that part works but it would not push to the phone..

Do you happen to have an unlocked iPhone? There are issues with Push on these devices as far as I'm aware. But as long as Push is working for you in other apps it should be ok...
I think the concept is still in its infancy on Windows, but here's another outfit doing a similar thing you could try:

thanks. I think the main issue I would have with using something like Snarl is it only pushes out a notification - I could not reply to an email.
