Faster in the rain??

I dont know what it is but when running in the rain I run nearly 1 min/mile faster without any apparent additional effort, I have no idea why?? maybe its the fact Im focused on the rain or that im cooler. anyone know why??

Running feels easier in the rain it has a cooling affect so the body does'nt have to work as hard on that and I think there is more oxygen in the air when it rains.
