Kickboxing in Cork

    want to take kickboxing up for general fitness at first anyway.have no previous experience in any fighting sports. just wondering has anyone got any recommendations about where to go in Cork and the cost involved in taking up the sport if you were gonna do 2/3 classes per week

    would you think of doing thaiboxing ul have the advantage of an art using all weapons kicks punches knees and elbows.

    classes at blarney st siam warriors gym for starting off tues wens thurs 7pm

    sat 12pm classes 7euro or weekly and monthly rate if you goen every night. all you need is shorts and t-shirt everything else there for you.

    at the least will give you a great work out

    where in cork are you...

    there is kick or thai pretty much most places now..

    we are in city centre and douglas.

    martin has the northside. And there are clubs in midleton and bandon also.

    thanks for the replies.douglas would suit me better alright. i'll have a look into it. was looking at some place in the marina aswell. whats the thai training like?i've heard of fellas lashing their legs off doors to numb the nerves in their legs.seems pretty intense
