Wedge lenght and height

Anybody know what lenght the pros wedges are? Is it better to have a short or long club? or is it just what suits you and what you feel comfortable with?
What is the standard size of a sandwedge? does this cover all heights? Is it not wrong for a 5"9 person to be using the same lenght club as a 6 foot 3 person?
What would be the positives and negatives of a shorter/longer club? EG shorter clubs has more of a chance of pulling shots etc..Any tall golfers who use very short wedges?

I'd say most pros have standard length wedges the length isn't as important as normal irons. Depends what you feel comfortable with and what suits your swing. Longer clubs will give more distance but shorter clubs give more control which is what you want with your wedges. I'm 6 foot 4 and I use standard length wedges I just feel comfortable with them I've tried longer ones but just don't feel right

I got fitted for irons a few years ago, and it was recommended I get them +1/2". I thought it was a good idea to get the wedges adjusted by the same amount.
I didn't realise it then, but it caused me to lose shots to the right. Instead of sitting down into the shot I was now standing taller and as a result the heel of the club was up a couple of degrees.
I changed back to standard length, and haven't looked back since. I'd recommend standard lengths unless you're taller or smaller, in which case you can get the heads tweaked a couple of degrees to suit your setup.
