Mainstream media don't report Honduras racist slur on Obama

    From FAIR

On June 29, the day he was installed by Honduran coup leaders as the country's new interim foreign minister, Enrique Ortez Colindres repeatedly used racist slurs to describe U.S. president Barack Obama.

"I have negotiated with queers, prostitutes, leftists, blacks, whites. This is my job; I studied for it. I am not racially prejudiced. I like the little black sugar plantation worker who is president of the United States."
I didn't see any mention of this by RTE.
Yet, RTE have put up at least 3 stories on their website referring to Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez calling Bush a "devil". Which is very mild compared to the racist slur above.

Now maybe, its because in the case of Honduras the slur is coming from a member of the Right, and shouldn't we be used to racist slurs and other denigrating comment coming from they?

Maybe the coup leaders in Honduras aren't worthy of international press?
Yet at the same time, the press here have willfully posted their propaganda...
