Prince Charles - Facing the Future

Some of you may have seen on TV the excellent speech given by Prince Charles on the environment, capitalism and globalisation, at the Richard Dimbleby lecture last week. I thought I'd post a link to the text for anyone interested (link). It's long, so I've posted what was one of the highlights for me below:

It seems to me a self-evident truth that we cannot have any form of capitalism without capital. But we must remember that the ultimate source of all economic capital is Nature’s capital. The true wealth of all nations comes from clean rivers, healthy soil and, most importantly of all, a rich biodiversity of life. Our ability to adapt to the effects of climate change, and then perhaps even to reduce those effects, depends upon us adapting our pursuit of “unlimited” economic growth to that of “sustainable” economic growth. And that depends upon basing our approach on the fundamental resilience of our ecosystems. Ecosystem resilience leads to economic resilience. If we carry on destroying our marine and forest ecosystems as we are doing, then we will rob them of their natural resilience and so end up destroying our own.

It's particularly refreshing to hear a future head of state declare that protecting the environment involves capping economic growth, and that the environment should determine what's an acceptable growthrate, if any. Makes me wonder how influencial he could be in this respect once he accedes to the throne.

His critics and the public find it ironic that as he gives lectures around the world on the dangers of carbon addmissions from air travel , he has flown thousends of miles around the globe in a Gas Guzzler of a plane .

If he wants to set an example get the train or coach , it's much cheaper and would save the british tax payer hundreds of thousends of pounds every year .

Then we see his mother the queen for england is the biggest single landowner in the planet exceeding even Rockerfeller and Saudi king and she is owning 6000 million acres in countries from Canada ,Australia ,UK and some other haples third world countries and no sign they will give back that land to the locals from whom they stole it from some time in their forgotten past.

So then we see that prince Charles is best pals to Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the government’s Sustainable Development Commission and The Optimum Population Trust.

They make nice cute noises we need to reduce the population of the uK by 50%% with a policy of convincing people of the merits of population reduction so as to save the planet ever so cute from these monsters .

So whats the plan CHARLIE BABY repeat your forefathers solution with stuff like forced castration and abortion and food reduction solutions with creating some nasty virus that kills the food supply or farm aninmals or what about a virsus that kills the dumb A$$ brits serfs sprayed from on high with royal airforce jets.lets not forget the Bio weapon gas they tested on the british soldeirs in the 1950s era that killed alot of them dig up those solutions and ramp that up .Better still what about the gulf war 1 vaccines laced with nasty stuff that crippled a lot of the british army in that war dig up that vaccine and inject the serfs with that proven nasty vaccine and inject all the serfs and make them die slow horrible deaths for having the cheeck to breed on the UK mainland

The only one really good idea the french had was off with the heads of the serpents of the royal families .The Indians in north amerca said white man speak with forked toungue and your white king is a bad man he breaks his promise every time .

For Irish to even think the royal family of the UK with thier aloof upbringing care one tiny bit about the serfs stuck in the UK would need to have been givin a labotomy or is a victim of British propaganda and is brain washed or is living in coo coo land

The British royal family's idea of greening britian is to cull 50% of the polulation as fast as possible seeing as they figure they own the serfs they have the right to cull them if they want .
The enviorment will also improve as a side effect of less people and all those bodies some 30 millon of them will fertilise the ground somewhat and help food production maybe even return a profit to add to the queens booty war chest

Derry, a classic example of attacking the messenger. Why not try to discuss or even (shock) reference a part of his speech.

The human race existing eating mostly useless eaters from the point of view of the elite is causing all polution so if we ellimate the majority of them from the land with killing them off in a cull it will make a green policy that works on the cheap,and the elite will get to see the benifits but the serfs mostly die .:eek:

If you had any idea how many people have died over the 20th century from UK royal family policies then you would know read between the lines and dont forget there are script writers that tone down the speech to be less in your face" to make green policy in the UK work the majority the serfs must die", becomes Porrit clean it up a bit to "we need 50% population reduction targets"

As for the speech 90% waffle few facts and most facts wrong or grossly exagerated or complete distortions of the truth and dire prediction 100 months our goose is cooked means the launch of the cull of 50% the UK population is probably some 100 months away and its probably a suitable virus or vaccine imported for the job
The finale "the choice is clear to me" means I the royal with the deep pockets and the army under his control will make the choice you the serfs will see the results of that choice and you the serfs will have no say in the whole process and there are no garentees the serfs wont suffer something bad real bad and if the serfs need to die to green the UK so be it .

the speech reminds me a lot of Hitlers speech sting jerker lines " we will make a new solution "arbiet maken frie" and the jews will get hot and cold shower choices on their first day of reception in the new work camps where they can live a long happy life for the betterment of the fatherland and all the german citizns in harmony with nature " and reading between the lines " this will be the final solution and the german fatherland will be cleared of the vermin jews who are not fit to breath and polute the german air and so to solve the breathing problem the showers units are full for gas and after that the germans will wipe out the slavics races and the lesser races and only top germanic race will be allowed to breed and share german nature ......"

Derry's post - quite possibly the most offensive and small minded post I've seen here.
Like him or not, the fact is Prince Charles is a staunch supporter of sustainable policies and put's the world's interests first. Yes, he's lucky to be able to do so, not having to parkake in conventional work like politicians or other 'leaders', but don't knock him for doing the right thing, expressing a well-balanced, grounded and sensible view.
Live in the present, not the past.
