Hey.

I'm just wondering how I would write in an email (e.g.) "Click here" (or something like that) instead of having to copy and paste a long and untidy-looking URL.

    Hope question is clear!

    You could use http://tinyurl.com/

    Excellent - thanks very much!

Sometimes when I link something on Twitter, the link automatically converts to tinyurl, other times it doesn't. Don't know why it varies.

In a HTML email it would be
<a href="http://www.reallylongaddresshere.com/andsomemoretexthere.php?abitmore=here">click here</a>
, however the tinyURL idea means you don't need to send the email in HTML format, which not all people might have enabled in their email client.
