    hey - just wondering if anyone has any opinions on the USB modems? do they work? are they worth it? any major problems? any recommendations on suppliers?

    Any advice would be much appreciated

    as in wireless/portable internet connection ... offered by a lot of mobile phone companies at the moment. they look like a USB/memory stick...
