blue screen crash

    I have a Dell Vostro 1500 and it keeps crashing on me this is what came up the last time it crashed

    Tell us what it says after where it says "STOP".

    OK where dose it say "STOP" ?

    Usually about half way down the page, it'll say "STOP", and followed by some words. These sometimes gives us a clue of what is happening.

    ok well I did not get a look at that
    the bit I posted was what came up after the laptop rebooted
    I will look at it next time to see what it says

    hi
    My laptop which has done nothing but give me problem after problem since I got it is now telling me that I have a virus ....Trojan - spy.HTML.sunfraud.a and trojan-spy.HTML.bankfraud.ra

    Anyone any ideas as to what this is and how harmfull it is ??

    Am i better of to restore the laptop to its orignal settings and if so how do I back up all my files and pictures that are on it

    Download and run malwarebytes. That should take care of both of those and may also find other things you weren't aware were lurking on your laptop.
