Old Love rekindled?

Right i guess i just need some advice on an old relationship. I met this guy one night out and we hit it off straight away. Went for a couple of dates etc. Got on amazingly, however he bothered me a bit with the way we did things. He would casually say "oh lets meet tomoro" and then cancel. all the time. it drove me insane. until i had to say somethin to him. i told him and he realised, said sorry and we sorted that little problem out. A while later he decided that he either wanted to be serious with me or not, but the thing was that he was finishing uni that year and heading abroad to play professional sport. so we decided to part our ways. i still cared so much for him, and i think he did for me. after finishin my first year exams i went to italy for a month with my best friend. while there, he started textin me again sayin he would love to meet up when i go back to belfast in summer. He now is at oxegen, and textin me tellin me he misses me. I dont really know what to do... i know he wants to get back or something. or a booty call. which is just not what i want. but i do care so much for him, and was fallin in love with him whenever we did break up. His plans still havent changed and he still is going abroad but only for six months... im just so confused, and want my head sorted before i do see him next....

any advice would be great?

Id avoid him. It sounds to me he is only interested when it suits him.
