I'm a 25 year old male and i've just started a relationship with someone.

Is it normal for us sometimes to feel a bit nervous/jittery towards the start, especially when things are going great? I want this to last :)

Its entirely natural and is matures way of making us decide whether to continue or not.

Its very natural to have jitters at the start and its also healthy. Relax and enjoy and dont panic until the jitters convert to serious concerns (if they do)..

Aw bless you OP! Yep the jitters/nerves are perfectly normal. Enjoy this part...it's the honeymoon period of the relationship and you'll be pining for these days 4-6 months down the line.

However...if you're coming across as too eager as a result of the nerves then you might frighten the girl away. Keep your cool or at least pretend to. Try and get the balance between letting this girl know you're interested but that you don't lie awake envisioning the two of you walking down the aisle and living happily ever after, even if you do.

Just enjoy this part and go with the flow. :) It's all very exciting!
