Right, looks like I'm going to be living in Dublin and have a regular enough commute to Belfast from September.

Question: Are there student price season tickets for Leinster?
How often will there be matches on in Dublin / NI, that I could go to as a Leinster season ticket holder?

    2009 Season Tickets

    Blue Membership 2009/10

Become a Leinster Rugby Member by purchasing this Blue package.

    There's no student membership unfortunatley.

You can double check this by emailing tickets "at" Leinsterrugby.ie though. The girl who works there is always really helpfull.

As far as I know, 10,500 or so have been sold and there is a maximum of 11 or 12 thousand that can be sold, so you might want to email them anyway to see what's available...you're best bet is unreserved seating in either the north or south stand as any reserved seating only crap seats will be left.

If there's any spots left (although doubtfull) you might want to try and get into the terrace...I'm in there this season and can't wait.

You will get all 9 home games in the Magners League, so at least once every second weekend or so, you'll also get all 3 home Heineken Cup group games and you will get first preference on all away game tickets, including Heineken Cup, and you will get first preference on all later stages (Quarters, Semi, Final etc) of Heineken Cup tickets, you'll get first preference on Semi and Final of play-off tickets and you'll get lottery entry for international tickets (and you more or less always get a ticket for something).

It's great value and worth every penny from my experience.

As for the Belfast games, you'll just have to get tickets like a regular punter, but at least for the Leinster game you'll be able to book in advance and secure your ticket. if you're lucky you might get alternating weekends of games in Belfast or Dublin on different weekends and being in the right place each time for the city that's hosting a game, or even get 2 matches in on a weekend, Friday in Dublin, Saturday in Belfast etc.

    I envy you! :p

So assuming I go for a stands ticket, which is better? North or South or is there little difference?

Go north dude, you'll be in with me ;)

On a side note, I think thats to the way the wind blows through there that quite often the North stand gets the weather in your face - that might just be my opinion after too long spent sitting there though.

The big screen is in the north stand so you can see it from the south stand unless they plan on changing the layout
