Apache drum break and Amen drum break.

    does anyone know of a good sample pack which would basically have the amen break and apache break on it? a sample dvd or something of similar ilk?

    A little bird told me that Zero G have a pack that actualy has these breaks pretty much on the disc....

    and also,if anyone knows anywhere i could get a decent drum n bass sample pack which has good loops and drum kits,please let me know,links or whatever.

    There are so many out there,and i just dont know what one to go n buy.

    I think practically every "classic breaks" sample pack would have the Amen and Apache break on them, seeing as they are two of the most popular drum breaks there are (the Amen break is one of the most sampled pieces of music ever, second only to Jame Brown's Funky Drummer break).

    thanks,i have my eye on a dvd which is pretty good.
    im hoping it has some good stuff on it,its called "hip hop ammunition"

    i dont normally buy stuff like this,but it looks pretty nice.

    dogsonacid.com has loads of threads for sample packs and break packs.

    I've got a good few gig+ packs from them all litered on my harddrive.

    but,this is the problem,i dont want links to sites letting me download stuff for free,i dont want 4 gigs of loops of some lads hard drive.

    i want to know if there is a specific sample dvd,or website that actually sells these loops in a dowloadable wav. or acidised wav. or an actual dvd disc..(because i want to have royalty free stuff)

    The apache and amen breaks are not royalty free, it's just that the copyright owners haven't sued anybody for using them yet. Just because lots of companies have put them on sample CDs and charge for them, technically doesn't make them cleared samples.
