Ok we all know docters lawyers and dentists make big money but I would like to know what jobs give a good wage even if it includes having to work shift or extra hours. One of the things about my job is I only work 39 hours and there is never overtime so I cant make extra pay.I recently found out that biomed lab analysts make a fortune on call because they get paid per test, this is an example of what I mean

sales people on uncapped commission can earn huge salaries if they are good and have a good product to sell.

Take a seles job at your peril, it is a huge risk, especially nowadays. Only if you have experience at it, you can then take it on.

I wouldn't be including lawyers with docters and dentists.
A select few lawyers make millions. The rest earn a good living and many struggle, especially now. Plus barristers are self-employed so it isn't easy. They work a year unpaid "deviling"

    As for an job.
Are a big lad? Debt collection maybe?
I've seen programs on Channel 4 where the council send baliffs to collect council tax.
We don't have that here but maybe there is money in debt collection.

    Air Traffic Control?

Short career with a high burnout rate I'm led to believe, although that could be an urban myth spread by the air traffic controllers to protect their gravy train.

It's all relative TBH and I'd say with modern safety equipment it's pretty safe, it's not like you are taking it out with your hands, I used to have a neighbour big house, got a massive extension, lovely car, self employed guy he makes great money.
