Best PSN Exclusive Games?

Got a PS3 recently, mainly for blu-ray and PS3 exclusives.

As a big fan of those 800 point XBL marketplace games, I'm eager to see whats out there for the PS3. I can't find many good guides on the web, so I turn to you....

I got Super Stardust HD (which is really great), and Flower (which is so relaxing that I fell asleep playing it -- it was 1am after a long day, so I have an excuse!)

What are the best PSN exclusive games in the Playstation Store?
(I'm looking for ones that aren't on the xbox).

Its tough as nails but Burn Zombie Burn was quite fun.

I think Wipeout and Siren are probably the most critically acclaimed

I'm a big fan of the PixelJunk games & Wipeout HD.

Possibly THE most entertaining multiplayer game ever has to be Rag Doll Kung-Fu: Fists of Plastic.

It had myself and my mates in stitches for the 4 hours we played it.

Very good fun and for €9.99, what more can you want??

I would have to say Wipeout HD is easily the best downloadable game on PSN.

Heh? Got that game for free of the US store and deleted it 2 days later. Having to use the sixaxis ruins the game completely. Wipeout HD and Savage Moon are 2 of my favourites!

Waving the six axis around like a mad man to use the special powers is all part of the fun.

And it's not really that special as a single player game but it's immense as a multiplayer game.

To quote my mate with tears of laughter running down his cheeks when we were playing it:

"this is absolutely fcuking savage. When I get a PS3 then this is the first game I'm getting. You can screw your Pro Evo and Fifa and Far Cry and all that other crap. This is the game of this very young century"

High praise. High praise indeed :p

Wipeout HD is pretty good fun. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is great.

Good to see someone enjoys it. I downloaded it when it was free and played it last night for the first time since then and the game is terrible imo.

You are suffering from confirmation bias. You paid money for this game so your mind is telling you it's good to justify the expenditure.

As I got it for free during the US promotion I have an objective opinion of the game which is:

Ragdoll Kung Fu is sh!t :D

Ok that may be too harsh, but it isn't worth a tenner. Even free I feel it is taking up precious space on my PS3 :p. I can think of a lot of other PSN titles that are far superior to it that should be bought first.

My top 5 that the OP hasn't got yet:

    1. Pixeljunk Monsters
    2. Wipeout HD
    3. Worms
    4. Savage Moon
    5. Dark Mist (If you liked Stardust you'll probably like this, I found it very addictive trying to better my highscore for a few weeks)

Also, OP, I know what you mean about flower. I've threw it on a few times and nodded off. When I was playing it first, I didn't realize that if you didn't move the controller for a few seconds it would enter a screensaver, I thought it was a cutscene or something and ended up watching it for 10 minutes before falling asleep.

flower is usually my showcase game that I throw on when friends come over who still think "video games" are mario and sonic.

Since my last post, I got Wipeout HD (excellent), Burn Zombie Burn (love it, but by god its tough) and Pixeljunk Eden (once I figured out what was going on, I really like it).

Dark Mist looks great, going to check that out tonight.

No mention of Everyday Shooter? Its a twin stick shooter (ie geometry wars) that creates the sound track based on what you shoot. If you like GW and indie rock its a must have!

Also one guy made the whole thing!

I can't be sure but I think Dark Mist could be a load of gash. Try a demo first.
