Probably a bit petty but with all the blurb of prices falling i thought i'd give it a mention. I worked in a factory for almost 2 years and was let go last october. Every day I bought a small roll for lunch from the local centra at a cost of €1.85. Yesterday morning i was in the area and decided to pop into the same centra and get the same roll. Guess what? €3! When I mentioned this at the till I just got a blank stare.

they would only have been doing the €1.85 roll to compete with Londis (€1.87 last time I checked), so if Londis ended their offer, Centra are bound to follow suit
