Ran malbytes, now internet is not working

    Hi everyone,

    I noticed yesterday that my computer was infected with a virus that caused porn pop ups and antivirus software pop ups so i ran malbytes this morning and it appears to have helped but now i can not access the internet. I'm running an AVG can at the moment and it doesn't seem to be picking anything up. Because my internet is not working i can't install or run Adware or Spybot S & D.

    Any ideas on how to fix this? I have the log from malbytes if that helps.

    Thanks in advance.

    I reset my dns and router and the internet working for about a minute and is now back to not working.

    Any ideas would be great.

    try this

    Please go to Start -> Control Panel, and choose Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically. Click OK twice, and restart your computer.
