Davos to Stelvio via Bormio. Look at it. LOOK AT IT. That is incredible.

Some of yis might have seen it on Top Gear. Zoom in on the centre of this map to see the hairpins. Now look at it some more.

Is there at least a pub at the top?

You forgot the word "down" in the title.:)

    Amazing stretch of road.

I think (at least part of it) features in the Drei-Lander Giro.

Is this road used in any of the Italian Gran Fondos. If so it could be a trip and a half

Hah, when I saw it on TopGear the first thing I thought was 'man that'd be sweet to cycle'.

You'll be grand with a 34/28 and ordinary mortals should be fine with a 30/28.

I, however, would probably go for a 22/34 to be sure, to be sure, 'cos I can't walk very far, so can't risk running out of gears.

I thought she said 'Borneo'. You don't want to get the two mixed up. It would a huge disappointment to get to the top of the hill and then find you're supposed to be on a Pacific island.
