In September I will be in final year of Computer Science and I want to get into Networking Engineering after I leave. I know there is some other qualifications out there like MCSA and MCSE that I can do but I was wondering does anyone know of any books, online tutorial that I could use to build up my knowledge and working…

The Cisco certs are the ones you want.

CCNA is the entry level one. You should post over in the IT certification forum (under Edu).
