Sorry to hear that op, unforunately i'd say its a lost cause. My only thought would be to try the local barracks and the main one up in ballybricken cause thats the only place i'd bring cash to hand in.

    hi Rohe,

Try calling the AIB in Ferrybank and the post office too - a few weeks ago I found a hundred squid note on the floor of the bank and handed it into the girls - the person who lost it appeared a few hrs later and claimed it, she was in a right state looking for it. Not all people would pocket it, you might get lucky.;)

If it was lost on the street/road, then you're really relying on the person that found it being a good egg. 50/50 shot at best these days I'd say.

Hopefully it may have been lost in one of the aforementioned premises, people would be less likely to pocket it if they thought they might be on camera. The fact it was just cash in an envelope doesn't help either, if there was a name/wallet with it, it might attack someone's conscience a bit more.

To be truthful, i'd probably pocket the cash myself. :(

unfortunately there was a name on the envelope, rent and my partners name was written on the envelope as our house is in his name.

we tried all the places he was in but no money was handed in,i've given up hope that it will be found to be honest

just one of those unlucky things:(
