What's PP up to?

Was in Powers today at lunchtime (2pm) and over the next hour they pushed the price of the fav in 7 races from 2pm until 3.10pm by 2 ticks as far as I could see, 13/8 to 15/8, 4/1 to 5/1, 1/1 to 6/5 etc! How can they be making money by doing this, surely all the margins gone? It's been a while since I was in a PP's but…
