Has anyone fitted an in car DVD player

My kids get very whiney on long trips (wife is from Mayo so a lot of 3 hour slogs to the back of beyond) so I was thinking about getting a DVD system and headrest screens fitted to the family mobile.

However I'm wondering if they would cause car sickness in the kids as I can't read a book etc. in a car without getting nauseous. I've seen systems for about €150 with 2 screens and wireless headphones so the kids could listen to their DVDs and I wouldn't be getting bugged by Dora or High School Musical.

    Any thoughts????

I bought a portable DVD player for each of my two kids recently. They were an Aldi "Special" @ €59 and have divx playback for downloaded movies;).
The beauty of the portables is that they can be used anywhere!:)
