Just wondering does anyone know if there are any demo days around the Dublin area soon. Especially Taylormade or Callaway.

Have checked the web but doesn't seem to be any.

I emailed callaway a while back about demo days they had coming up. As far as I can remember they had a few coming up in Halpenny Golf , can't remember the dates and I have deleted the email. But you can go to the european section of their site and send them a message asking about demo days and they ill get back to you fairly quick, Im sure you could do the same on the TaylorMade site.

cobra seem to be down in leopardstown and stepaside almost every week..

Where is your evidence for this statement? Noisy, maybe but sub-standard?

once you've dampened the sound with newspapers and an old sandwich, they are pretty poor tbh.

considering cobra and titleist (and footjoy) are the same company and most golf equipment are made in the same factories in china anyway that doesn't seem an informed comment.

    Hi

Just for everyones info here is the email that Callaway sent me giving details for their demo days.

I have spoken with our technical agent who covers the Scottish and Irish regions. His next trip over to Ireland is in August. The dates and venues are listed below:

    Mon 10th Aug - Spawell Driving Range, Dublin from 5 - 9pm.

Tue 11th Aug - The Golf Sport Shop, Kilcoole, County Wicklow from 4 - 8pm.

    Wed 12th Aug - Bray Golf Club, Bray from 3 - 7pm.

    Thu 13th Aug - Coonagh Driving Range, Limerick from 2 - 6pm.

Fri 14th Aug - Castle Hume Driving Range from 3 -7pm.

Please call the venue prior to turning up just in case they are arranging a booking system. It would also be adviseable to call on the day to make sure that nothing has been cancelled.

just had a look at the spawell driving range site looks great if they had something like that in sligo i would never leave it. I'm headin up to blanchardstown on sat is spawell far from there?

I wouldn't get overly excited about spawell, it's ok though. Its a bit far from blanchardstown, but if you are near the m50 it doesn't take too long to get over to the exit for it and it's only a couple of mins from the exit.

Its just down the M50, Take the Tallaght exit and keep left and you will see it on the left a few meter's down the road.

Titleist & Ping demo night Wed Feb 2nd from 6-9pm at Naas driving range.
Not Dublin as you asked but only a few smacks of a seven iron further down the road.

Do we have any updates for 2011 yet?

I'd like to try some drivers, fairway woods, hybrids in Dublin over the course of the next few weeks.
