747's in DUB?

    Hi folks, is there much 747 action in Dublin these days?

    the only one i used to see on the ramp was the SQ 747F i think it was replaced by an AF 747F and i havent seen that in a while.

    That has been replaced with the 777F. No regular 747's into any Irish airport any more in fact.

    Zero 747's these days,the AF747 freighter has been replaced by 777

    the auld 747 will missed then again the 777F is some serious bit of kit the range it can fly and pay load uplift.

    in a few years time we will be seeing the likes of the 777F taking over from the 747 & auld reliable work horses that are dc10/md10&md11.

    what a shame i have allways liked the engine on the tail they allways stood out on the ramp
