Thinking of buying this

for use on a 12km daily commute, I am presently cycling on a cheap mtb and getting sick of the thick tyres impeding the speed I can reach so I have a few questions for you guys.


is this a good all round bike?

what size frame do I need? (I am 5ft 11)

could you recommend a better bike in the same price category?

32c tyres are still quite big. Maybe try the Giant FCR if you're looking for something quick.

Thanks for the replies but it seems my company has a 25% discount deal with eurocycles under the “cycle to work” scheme, so it seems I will have to buy one from there

I would probably go for the Felt over the Raleigh, looks like a nice bike in general. Don't discount drop bars either as Lumen suggests. As you are buying from a local bike shop though best thing to do is get down there and take them all for a test ride, make your decision based on that.
