    Ummmm

For a website that likes to write "TRUTH" all over the place in big letters (on the internet, I never), they do a pretty piss poor job of getting the facts correct.

    For example

"Under Executive Order 13295, the government claims to have the authority to force you into a concentration camp at gunpoint."

Perhaps you should read what Executive Order 13295 actually says

    http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/sars/executiveorder040403.htm

I don't trust my government but I do trust this random guy on the Internet trying to sell me things Good logic there.

This subject is flogged to death in the CT forum and It is of Christian importance as the "New World Order" or as some call it also ties in with the Book of Revelations, Antichrist, the Mark of the Beast etc.

The pope himself warns against the NWO, but at the same time urges steps toward a true world political authority:
    http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/jul/09070812.html

I suppose it depends on what one means by a NWO. A bunch of individuals ruling the world, or a world government elected by the nations. Both seem a bad idea to me, but a good idea to the already powerful elites of this world.

One doesn't have to be a conspiracy-nut to realise the powerful of this world aspire to ever greater power.

I agree, but AFAIK what the Pope was warning about was more greed, and exploitation as the New World Order? Especially as globalisation took hold, the order of the day was to economically rape one country after another.

As for the Bilderburg Group or whatever it's called / David Icke's 12 foot lizard men.... I really don't see the need to bring Christianity into it.

One doesn't have to be - but it helps.

The amount of rubbish written about this makes it so hillarious, that it is now stigmatic. IMO, if there are such conspiracies, it would be so much easier to carry them out now, as most of us just point and laugh. Personally, I try not to scoff too much at these conspiracy theories. I think its better to look at the backround to the claims, like Wicknight did in his posting. Usually, you'll find the claims are hogwash, and when you do that, you can scoff with more authority:)

I personally second Wolfsbanes line about it not taking a genius to know that those with power usually want more. Its when we get into lizard men and the like that I tend to change the channel.

well, there is more happening that doesn't meet the eye because most people don't read between the lines they don't think with their own mind. anyways humans can be told lies easily by their government until their the government controls their life and has control of their free will. free will is what God gave each person it the government takes that from people then its evil. Its what is happening now the start of that

I hope that nothing I said implies that conspiracies do not exist. Just that many are bogus - maybe even the work of real conspirators to rubbish the idea of conspiracy in people's minds.

I believe it is healthy to keep an open mind - that means both ways - concerning any conspiracy claim. Don't trust the powerful, but don't assume they are all up to no good.

When they tell you about the need to go to war to prevent the use of WMD, ask a lot of questions before you believe them and the experts they cite. They just might be lying to you. I know that's hard to believe.

If there is an NWO well I guess it's a bit too late to do anything about it at this stage. Get with the winnin team I say! "All hail our new overlords!"

For the Christian, it is not a matter of overthrowing the final NWO - that is God's business. We seek only not to be complicit in its evil.

In the meantime, as citizens it is our duty to avoid as best we can any system that threatens the civil and religious liberties of mankind. That means not joining in a shout of unqualified support for any such 'benefactors'.

Whether it is Imperialism, Communist, National Socialism or narrow Nationalism - all will have elements that are positive, but only end up seducing us to accept the totality of evil.

Hey, leave Fianna Fail voters out of this ... :pac:

There are plenty of things to actually worry about in the world without the need for people to invent more.

I'm far more worried about the general incompetence of governments and world leaders than any idea that they are all secretly organising themselves to get me. If they ever did manage a massive co-ordinated secret strategy I would be far too impressed by it to mind that much as they shipped me off to the Alaskan salt mines

If only they were that clever and organised.
anyways humans can be told lies easily by their government until their the government controls their life and has control of their free will.

Spend a year working in or with a government department or the public service and any notions along those lines will be a distant distant memory.

A typical western government cannot organise a cake sale without 15 departments bitching with each other over the colour of the table cloths.

The idea that they are going to take over our lives and control our free will is again wishful thinking. If only they had that power to get things done.

    Well,
The government is in control of most things they know ur pps number they know about your health, your family, they have control of where you want go if you want to go travel to other countries. Its moving to a different level of control in the US and now its very subtle not many can see it for what it actually is. Its already began in europe. Many people will be controlled without knowing it and so it will get to a stage where they dont have free will anymore.

Lets say the government know my every step. What I eat for breakfast, where I shop, go on holiday, all my health issues, where all my family live, my bank details etc etc. Even if they have every detail, could you explain where it is that I lose my free will? Also, what kind of control will they exhibit over me?

    Well,

Why, how did they find that out? Could it be because they gave it to you to begin with??

My boss knows more about me than the government does.

they have control of where you want go if you want to go travel to other countries.
Of the sixty or so countries I've visited, the Irish government has been aware of me in only two and both times, they've been extraordinarily and genuinely helpful. In the first, they provided an official driver and allowed me use the Embassy as a meeting venue, while in the other country, they invited me to an Embassy gig where they parked me in front of a table laden with free booze, in a country where it's illegal to consume the stuff.

Your tax euros at work, folks - thanks :)

At least I know they're going to good use :D Next time your off on a trip keep some room in your suitcase. A table full of booze would do me nicely to offset some of my tax bill. ;)

I agree on the general incompetence of governments. But when it comes to control/power, they can get pretty smart pretty quick.

It's not far from the voting booth to the gas-chamber. A small number of evil men with guns outvotes the unarmed masses. And get the masses to vote them into power, what evil may not follow?
