upgrading bike any advice

    hi people i am upgrading from my liteweight mtb to a racer (have been doing between 60 to 300 km per week on previous bike with slick tyres) went to local bike shop he recommended kellys arc 1.9 bike any advice please i only took up cycling 9mts ago and am loving it,have budget of €1200

    Would that bike shop happen to be Stagg cycles..... seem to be pushing Kellys bikes .... and the price upwards.... Some good value kellys bikes until supplier pushed up the prices recently.

    its not Stagg cycles its a place in the north east that has the kellys arc bike it is a big can of worms as indicated!!

    yes. go for the lidl racer.
    savage components. great value. €900
    save yourself €300 off your budget.

    loads of threads on it in boards.

    keep away from kelly's.
    they are real "local dealer who will change to some other brand to push next year" bikes.

    Yeah, gotta say the Cube bikes look very nice. CRC sell them.

    Ya need to order the bike in-store for home delivery.... fully assembled.. just turn the handlebars.
