    i have sky+ with a lot of things recorded that i still have to watch. just got sent out a new card from sky to replace the one were usin, can anyone tell me if its ok to just put it in straight away or will it delete all my shows iv recorded???

    Hi - I replaced the card in our sky+ box a couple of days ago and we watched shows recorded before the card was changed last night so there should be no problem switching the card.

    Make sure that:

    1. No recordings are presently on, or scheduled very soon.
    2. The box had been plugged in for at least 24 (standby).

    All this info is in the letter that came with the card(s).
