back dating rent suppliment

    hey guys. i have a question. I needed to get my rent suppliment backdated but when i went through the process they wouldn't give me the full amount so i have to appeal it. Can anyone help? I need to get this goin as quick as posssible as i have no money and cant pay the rent. This is really stressing me out. Any advice would be really appreciated

    You need to give more detail

    Why do you need it backdated?
    Why did you not apply on the original date?
    What are your circumstances?
    Were you on rent supplement prior to your curent accomodation?
    Did the CWO grant rent supplement from the date you applied?

    i think unless you have genuine reasons to the first 2 ,you mite be out of luck with regards to backdating

    i wasnt aware i was entitled to it for a couple of months then when i did apply my landlord dissapeared with the forms for a month.
    im unemployed in rented accomodatiom for now
    iv never been on rent supliment i didnt even know i was entitled to it until i was told a few months ago by a friend.
    iv been granted supplement but not fully backdated so have to appeal it.
    i dont know what an appeal involves or how long it goes on for.
    one thing i do know if it doesnt happen soon im on the street as i dont have the unpaid ammount to pay my landlord

    In the appeal, you state why you want the rent supplement backdated and why you think the CWO's decision was unfair.
