What we have here is a 200g jar of Kenco the smaller jar on the right reduced from €7.85 to €6.29.
On the left we have Kenco 200g + 100g extra free for €8.10. The larger jar does indeed scan at €8.10.

    Naughty Dunnes!

With the loss of 18,000 jobs. Whatever about grocery, drapery has massive price drops on almost everything, I should know, I work there.

You are comparing apples with pears. There is no comparison between Kenco Costa Rican and some no name Lidl stuff.

Report what exactly? have they broken the law or something? Shops charge whatever they want, I am shocked at the recent threads with people pointing out bigger packs being more expensive per unit volume/weight.

The larger jar could well cost Dunnes more, even though it says "free" they could be charging the shops more since they should have a higher turnover with such a good deal.

    I will interject here.

Firstly, how long has the 200g been there?
It could be old stock reduced to clear to make way for the new line i.e. the promotional 200+100g omgextrafree!!1! pack.

    Secondly, its instant coffee.
You are judging a whole shop on Instant coffee.
I have shopped around a good bit. I save the most in Dunnes.
I can get a lot of the stuff I can get in Tesco & Superquinn etc cheaper in Dunnes.

    Kenco 200g in Asda = £4.92 (€5.91)

Dunnes is full of anomalies like this. Eg, it is possible to buy 2x12 pack of eggs 90c cheaper than a pack of 18 eggs. Same eggs now.

Both jars are the same price they have the same barcode if you scan them they should be the same price, unless Dunnes stuck another sticker over them.

I can't see the description on the shelf talker for €8.10, maybe it's for another item, like the 300g refill pouch....

The barcodes are different. I have confirmed that.
